It take very little to get excited exploring the area surrounding the Gulf of Naples, but the tour of the Phlegraean fields (from the Greek "flègo", which means burn), will exceed your expectations regarding its quality, giving you the opportunity to discover the hidden treasure located behind the hills overlooking the city of Naples, by plunging yourself in one of the most beautiful scenery offered by the volcanic territory, enriched by the vibrant history of the site that allows you to structure several archaeological tours immersing you in one of the most fascinating places in the Campania region.
The tour includes a visit to one of the oldest Greek colonies (The archaeological park of Cuma), which according to some historians was the site from were departed the founders of the famous city of Partenope, located near the island of Megaride, where the charming castle of the ovo is situated.
Through the visit to the archaeological park it will be possible to admire, the Acropolis of Cuma (Greek colony witnessed by Apollo temple), Jupiter’s temple and the cave of Sibilla dating back the eighth century B.C.
